Through clever collaboration between MDT and Geomoby, we can offer a solution that is truly wireless – easy to deploy, cost-effective and designed to survive the rigours of a hostile mining environment.
Geomoby Bluetooth mesh nodes form the backbone of the mesh network, pairing with the SMART BLT Module to pull sensor data and transmit this over the long range bluetooth mesh network to a gateway with mine network access.
Each node is built within a rugged enclosure and houses a 120Ah rechargeable lithium battery – with a battery life in excess of 5 years.
The nodes are simply secured cable-tied in place with no physical connections required to sensors, allowing rapid deployment and eliminating the ongoing challenges associated with lead wire exposure.
