To solve the ongoing issues faced with lead wire damage, MDT has developed the SMART BLT Bluetooth module to remove any lead wire exposure and allow for readings to be easily taken with our tablet and SMART App.  Simply mate one of the SMART BLT devices to your SMART instrument (MPBX or Cable) and with its compact form factor leave it in place recessed within a small borehole for protection. It will wait and ‘listen’ for a connection from the Tablet app when in range, and a reading can be taken without physically connecting to the instrument.

With an expected battery life of 5+ years, and a typical range of 30m or more it’s a simple and robust solution for truly wireless data collection.
